The 18-year-old batter of the France National Cricket Team, Gustav McKeon, has achieved yet another tremendous milestone with his ton against Norway National Cricket Team and he has become the first man in the history of T20I cricket to smash back-to-back hundreds.

On July 25, Gustav McKeon, aged 18 years and 280 days, smashed a remarkable century against Switzerland at the Tikkurila Cricket Ground in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifier to become the youngest man to score a T20I century. He bettered Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai (20y 337d), who achieved this landmark against Ireland in 2019.

On July 27, the young French batter smashed a ton against Norway at the Kerava National Cricket Ground. He scored 101 runs off 53 balls, including 5 fours and 8 sixes in the match, bringing up his century with a huge six-over mid-wicket.

His innings helped France post 158/8 on the board after winning the toss and batting first. While defending the target, Gustav McKeon, with his medium pace, bagged 3 wickets and helped France win the match by 11 runs. Also, he won the Player of the Match award for his sensational performance.

Meanwhile, McKeon has now become the first man on the planet to score back-to-back centuries in the T20I format. Also, he has scored 286 runs in 3 T20I games in his career at an average of 95.33 and a strike rate of 170.23, including 2 tons and 1 half-century.

His tally of 286 runs is the highest runs scored by a batter in the first three innings of a men’s T20I career. He broke the record of Azhar Andani, who registered scores of 46, 100 and 81 in his first three innings for Portugal last year.
