Former India batter Wasim Jaffer rarely misses an opportunity to troll his social media nemesis Michael Vaughan, and he did it again on Thursday (November 9). Both Wasim Jaffer and Vaughan constantly tease each other on social media.

But from the last few days, Vaughan has been busy trolling former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez. It all began after Hafeez slammed Vaughan for taking a dig at Pakistan cricket. With Pakistan’s campaign in the ongoing World Cup marred by several controversies, Vaughan decided to take a hilarious dig at Pakistan cricket’s tendency to get involved in controversies during World Cups.

It, however, did not go down well with Hafeez who hit back at Vaughan on X after the ECB did not hand David Willey a central contract despite the pacer being a part of the World Cup squad. Later, Vaughan invited Hafeez on a podcast to clear things out.

Wasim Jaffer trolls Michael Vaughan:

Hafeez, however, did not respond to Vaughan’s invitation. But the England great was not done yet. When Hafeez criticized India star Virat Kohli’s century against South Africa, saying that he was selfish during the knock, Vaughan criticized him again.

And on Wednesday (November 8), Vaughan took to X to poke fun at Hafeez once again. He stated that Hafeez was criticizing Kohli only because the latter bowled him during a match between India and Pakistan in 2012. On Thursday, Wasim Jaffer decided to get involved and trolled Vaughan for his recent posts about Hafeez, writing:

“On a podcast @MichaelVaughan said that I hired a professional to banter with him. It’s true. But I only did that as I thought he needed professional help. And it’s worked. From unnecessarily trolling Ind fans to acting like an Ind fan, look how far he’s come! #Proud”

Talking about Kohli, he is having a stunning campaign in the ongoing World Cup. He is currently the second-highest run-scorer in the competition with 543 runs in 8 games.
