Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will look to reshuffle their squad for IPL 2025 due to the mega auction. IPL 2025 mega auction is expected to take place in December this year and like every other IPL team, RCB will need to let go of many prominent members.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) showed a wonderful performance last season in IPL 2024. The Faf du Plessis-led side reached the playoffs after a dismal show at the start, losing 7 games out of 8. Although they could not win the title, their journey was worth to watch out for.

Now, the RCB franchise has a big challenge ahead of themselves with the IPL 2025 mega auction. They have to nominate their best players for retention and it's not an easy task. However, there are some confirmed members whom they will retain. Below are 3 players RCB would retain for the IPL 2025 auction.

3. Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj is a crucial pacer for RCB and has become a poster boy for the side. His partnership with Kohli is widely popular and he is an aggressive guy like him. Siraj is also a regular member of the Indian team across all formats.

He has shown consistent performance for the last few years and clinched 15 wickets last season. Hence, he is highly likely to be retained by the franchise.

2. Faf du Plessis

Faf du Plessis is the captain of Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the franchise made him the skipper when Kohli left the leadership. Although Plessis has not yet captured the first-ever IPL title for the team, he has done a wonderful job as a skipper and a batsman. He is also a powerful opener. Hence, the Bengaluru franchise will retain him ahead of the IPL 2025 auction.

1. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is the first player on this list and there are no doubts Royal Challengers Bengaluru will retain him. RCB has retained Kohli over the years and he is an integral part of the side. In IPL 2024, Kohli was at his peak with batting. He ended as the highest run-getter and won the orange cap.
