Glenn Phillips Bought By Gujarat Titans For INR 2 crore at IPL Auction 2025

New Zealand star Glenn Phillips has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. A hard-hitting middle-order batsman and a handy off-spinner, the Kiwi allrounder could attract several teams in the auction.

While Phillips has done well in international cricket as well as several other T20 leagues across the world, he has yet to prove his worth in the IPL. His journey in the IPL began in 2021 with Rajasthan Royals.

In his debut season, the 27-year-old played only 3 games and scored 26 runs. He did not play any game in IPL 2022 before representing Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2022. In IPL 2023, Phillips played 5 games and scored 39 runs.

Apart from the IPL, he has also played in the Caribbean Premier League, Lanka Premier League, Major League Cricket, The Hundred and T20 Blast. Glenn has played a total of 253 T20s so far and has scored 6471 runs with the help of 5 centuries and 43 half-centuries. He has also taken 23 wickets in the shortest format of the game.
