GT vs LSG: "It Has Been Good Campaign For The Boys," Says David Miller On GT's Performance In IPL 2023

Gujarat Titans (GT) batter David Miller talked about his team’s performances in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. He said that so far it has been a good campaign for them as the way batters have complemented each other has made things easier for them.

Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) are the hot soup of the ongoing IPL 2023. They have played an exceptional brand of cricket so far in the tournament and are one of the hot favourites to qualify for the playoffs.

The reason behind GT being top of the table is the collective performance of the team. In each of their games, someone has stepped up and has taken his team to glory. With the way they are playing, there won’t be any surprise if they defend their title.

David Miller feels that so far they are having a good campaign but they are disappointed that they lost a few games as those were unlucky losses for them.

Speaking to broadcasters, he said: “It has been a good campaign for the boys, you are always going to have one or two mishaps in a competition like this. The way the batters have complemented each other throughout the competition, makes it pretty easy for ourselves.

“We have had a few unlucky results, probably we should have never lost those games. Looking back I think we could have won those games. It’s a long competition, so you need to learn from those losses.”

GT vs LSG: “It’s a massive day, credit to them,” David Miller on Hardik and Krunal Pandya leading respective teams

Gujarat Titans (GT) are currently taking on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their 11th match of the league. What has been the highlight is Pandya brothers are captaining their respective teams.

David Miller lauded Hardik and Krunal Pandya for the kind of hard work they have put in and added that it’s a big day for them. He elaborated:

“Just need to drink a lot of water (in these conditions), it’s pretty hot today. I think this is our last-day game, a quick turnaround from Jaipur.

“There was not much time to get out into the nets and do some prep, it’s more about hydrating. It’s a massive day, credit to them (Hardik and Krunal), they have done a lot of hard work, and it’s an honour to play against each other as captains.”

A win against LSG will take GT to 16 points and it’s fair to say that it’ll almost ensure their place in the playoffs.
