Gujarat Titans (GT) will lock horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ninth match of IPL 2025 on March 29 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemadabad. GT will look to gain momentum for the new season under Shubman Gill.

As far as the combination of Gujarat Titans is concerned the 2022 IPL champions were able to build a strong batting lineup at the mega auction by picking the likes of Jos Buttler and Glenn Philips which will solidify their batting

GT a team that has been a part of IPL since 2022 got off to a flier after winning their debut season which was followed by another appearance in the final of the 2023 IPL season.

The team formed a good blend of youth and experienced players in their debut season by picking the likes of Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya who was surprisingly named the captain of the side, and Mohammed Shami.

Come 2025 Gujarat Titans look like a completely different unit with the absence of experienced players like David Miller and Wriddhiman Saha and will depend on their new signing to deliver a solid performance.

Gujarat Titans will go in their second match against MI with a new opening combination of Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler. GT picked up Buttler in the mega auction last year which will add more power to the batting lineup

Shubman Gill who will be leading GT for the second consecutive season will look to start the tournament on a positive to gain much-needed momentum in the early stages of the league which he lacked last year.

Middle-Order Batters and All-Rounders: Sai Sudharsan, Glenn Philips, Kumar Kushagra, Shahrukh Khan, Rashid Khan, Washington Sundar, Rahul Tewatia

GT has a relatively new-look middle order with the likes of recruits including Glenn Phillips and Kumar Kushagra who will possibly bat at number four and five respectively or may swap positions according to the situation

The duo will get good support from experienced players like Sai Sudharshan Shahrukh Khan and Rashid Khan both of who are known for their power-hitting abilities and will make the core of GT's middle-order batting along with Rahul Tewatia.

GT has also added all-rounder Washington Sundar to their squad which provides them depth in batting and another spin bowling option who can bowl with the new ball.

GT has added strength to its fast bowling department by signing the trio of Kagiso Rabada, Prasidh Krishna, and Mohammed Siraj this season and has more or less covered up the absence of Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma
