Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play against the Gujarat Titans in match number 14 of IPL 2025 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Both teams will look to carry the momentum in the RCB vs GT game, having registered a win in the last match they played against CSK and MI, respectively.

RCB have had a rollicking start to the season with consecutive wins against KKR and CSK respectively, and will be eager to play in front of their home crowd at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium and would like to begin with a win at their home ground.

As far as the Gujarat Titans are concerned, the Shubman Gill-led side bounced back with a comprehensive win against MI in their second game of the season. The 2022 IPL champion delivered an all-around performance against Mumbai and would hope to do the same against RCB

This article provides information about the playing 11 of the Gujarat Titans for the RCB vs GT match scheduled to be played on Wednesday, April 02, at 7:30 PM IST.

Gujarat Titans Playing 11 vs RCB- IPL 2025, Match 14:

Openers: Shubman Gill (c), Sai Sudharshan

Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill will open the innings for the team with left-hander Sai Sudharshan. After failing in the first match against PBKS, Gill made a resounding comeback in the last match against the Mumbai Indians.

The right-hander, who has been criticized for his strike rate in the past, took on the MI bowlers in the first six overs and provided a solid platform along with Sai Sudharshan for Gujarat Titans to post a big score on the board.

Sai Sudharshan, on the other hand, continued his rich vein of form by scoring back-to-back half centuries. After failing to guide the team to a win in the first match, Sudharshan played a match-winning innings against MI.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Jos Buttler (wk), Shahrukh Khan, Sharfen Rutherford, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan

GT would be elated with the way the middle-order batters contributed against MI. The likes of Jos Buttler, Shahrukh Khan, Sherfane Rutherford, and Rashid Khan kept the pressure on the bowlers with their skillful batting.

Jos Buttler, in particular, played an important role in helping Gujarat Titans earn their first win of the season by building on the momentum given by the openers, which was further capitalized by the incoming batters in the final five overs.

Bowlers: Sai Kishore, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Ishant Sharma

South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has formed a good bowling partnership with Mohammed Siraj, and GT would hope that the duo is able to deliver a strong performance against RCB in Bengaluru.

The new ball pair of Siraj and Rabada will be followed by Pradeep Krishna, who prefers to bowl with the new ball but has nicely handled the responsibility of bowling in the middle when the ball gets a bit soft with reverse swing coming into play.

GT has one of the most potent spin attacks in the tournament, with the likes of Rashid Khan and Sai Kishore at the helm, who have the reputation of picking wickets in all three phases of the game.
