Harbhajan Singh launches full blown attack on MS Dhoni; levels serious allegations

Legendary India offspinner Harbhajan Singh has made a big revelation on his relationship with the former India captain MS Dhoni. Harbhajan recently indicated that Dhoni does not pick up his calls and the duo doesn't speak with each other anymore.

Bhajji and MS Dhoni were a part of India's iconic 2011 World Cup-winning squad. Both of them played stellar roles in India's historic title win. Not only the World Cup, but both of them have been a part of various important wins for India during their playing times.

Dhoni and Harbhajan also shared the dressing room together while playing for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Harbhajan Singh was a part of CSK from 2018 to 2020 when MS Dhoni was the team's captain.

Harbhajan Singh's big revelation on his relationship with MS Dhoni

During a conversation with News18 recently, Harbhajan Singh spoke about his relationship with the legendary India skipper MS Dhoni. Harbhajan made it clear that he doesn't speak to Dhoni anymore.

"No, I don't speak to Dhoni. I don't have anything against him. If he has something to say, he can tell me. But if he did, he would have told me by now," Harbhajan said.

Harbhajan Singh played under the leadership of MS Dhoni during his time with Chennai Super Kings. CSK won the IPL title in 2018 and finished as runners-up in 2019 with both Dhoni and Harbhajan part of the team together.

Harbhajan Singh and MS Dhoni haven't spoken for "10 years"

Harbhajan further went on to say that Dhoni and him haven't spoken for more than 10 years now. They spoke with each other during their time with CSK but those talks were only limited to the ground.

"When I was playing at CSK, that's when we spoke; but otherwise, we haven't spoken. It's been 10 years and more. I have no reason; perhaps he does and I don't know what the reasons are. When we were playing in the IPL at CSK, that's when we used to talk, and that too was restricted to the ground. After that, he did not come to my room, nor did I go to his," he claimed.

The former India spinner later indicated that MS Dhoni does not even pick up his calls. He claims not to be in touch with Dhoni anymore and does not give him a call.

"I only ring up those who pick up my calls, I don't have the time otherwise and I stay in touch with the ones I am friends with. A relationship is always about give and take. If I respect you, I hope you will respect me back. Or you respond to me. But if I call you once or twice but don't get a response, I will probably only meet you as much as I need to," Harbhajan added.

While Harbhajan has retired from all forms of cricket, Dhoni is still playing the IPL. Dhoni retired from international cricket way back in 2020 but has continued to play the IPL since.

Harbhajan now works behind the scenes as a cricket expert and a commentator. He is also seen in tournaments for retired players like Legends League Cricket and various other tournaments.
