Hardik Pandya checks in at the BCCI Center of Excellence

Hardik Pandya, the seasoned all-rounder for India, has been ruled out of the game ever since the Asia Cup 2025. The star all-rounder injured his left quadriceps during the Asia Cup 2025 match vs Sri Lanka.

As a result of this injury, he missed the Asia Cup final clash against Pakistan and was not in a position to take the field for the much-anticipated clash, and was advised to rest until cleared by the BCCI medical team.

Hardik Pandya is set to check in at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru on Tuesday and will be assessed for the future course of action, as per TOI. The initial timeline for recovery was around 4-6 weeks, but clarity would come only after this assessment.

Nitish Kumar Reddy replaced Hardik for the Australia tour

Hardik Pandya had to be ruled out of the Asia Cup final with 4 wickets in the tournament and a knock of 38 runs against Bangladesh in the 6 Asia Cup games he appeared in. Due to the injury, he was ruled out of the upcoming tour of Australia.

As a result of this, Nitish Kumar Reddy has been called up for the ODI series on the Australia tour and is all set to make his T20I comeback since the last series back in 2024. However, reports have also stated that Pandya currently does not need surgery and will be back in action next month.

Nitish had a promising outing for India in the longest format of the game in the previous Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and it will be interesting to see how the youngster fares in the white-ball formats.

Hardik Pandya has been in the news for his relationship with Mahieka Sharma
