"It’s Normal...": Hasin Jahan Reacts As Mohammed Shami Receives Marriage Proposal From Actress

Mohammed Shami has become the talk of the town thanks to his stunning performance in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The right-arm pacer has played a huge role in India’s dominating march to the final of the competition.

He was not a part of India’s playing XI for the first four games as he warmed the bench. However, an unfortunate injury to Hardik Pandya saw him getting recalled to the playing eleven and he has not looked back since then. In his comeback game, he picked up a five-wicket haul against New Zealand and is currently the leading wicket-taker in the tournament. In just 6 games, he has picked up 23 wickets with the help of 3 five-wicket hauls.

In the semifinal, he starred with the ball and picked up a record seven-wicket haul against New Zealand as India won the game by 70 runs to storm into the final. With Mohammed Shami doing well, his estranged wife Hasin Jahan is also grabbing the headlines. She recently faced flak on social media for saying that good performances from her estranged husband would help her lead a good life.

Hasin Jahan reacts to Mohammed Shami’s performance:

Mohammed Shami’s stunning performances also saw him getting a marriage proposal from actress Payal Ghosh. And Hasin Jahan has now once again spoken about the India star. Speaking to India Today, she said that she wished if he “was as good a person as he is a player”.

“If he were also a good person, as good a player as he is, we could have led a good life. My daughter, my husband, and I could have led a happy life if he were a good person. And it would be even more a matter of respect and honour if he were not only a good player but also a good husband and a good father,” said Hasin Jahan.

“But due to Shami’s mistakes, due to greed, and due to his dirty mind, the three of us have to face the consequences. However, he is trying to hide his negative points through money,” she added.

She also spoke about the marriage proposal that her estranged husband received, saying: “These things keep happening to celebrities. It’s normal. I don’t want to comment on it.”

Meanwhile, Team India will be taking on Australia in the final of the World Cup. The all-important match is scheduled to take place on Sunday (November 19) in Ahmedabad.
