West Indies star Hayley Matthews has reached the No.1 spot in the latest ICC Rankings for Women’s T20I All-rounders after her back-to-back impressive performances against reigning world champions Australia.

In the first game of the three-match series, Hayley Mathews remained unbeaten on 99 off 74 balls to help her side post a challenging total of 147 for 3. Her knock, however, was not enough for a win. In the second game, she led from the very front and helped West Indies chase down a record total of 213 runs. With the series on the line, Hayley Mathews played one of the best T20I knocks of all time.

She scored 132 runs off just 64 balls with the help of 20 fours and five sixes as West Indies chased down the huge total with a ball remaining. She had made a difference with the ball too, taking 3 for 36 off her 4 overs. And those impressive displays have helped her move to the top of the ICC Rankings for T20I allrounders with 480 rating points.
