Hardik Pandya has been in terrific touch as the flamboyant all-rounder looks ominous. The dashing all-rounder has made a name for himself in the last 4-6 months after his injury. He had a brilliant IPL as he showcased his captaincy skills and was solid in his approach.

After the Disastrous T20 World Cup 2021, people had written off Pandya. The batter was not considered for selection and it seemed that the door has been closed for him. Making a comeback is never easy as the player has to start from scratch as the selectors observe every movement.

“The way he was batting, he was in his zone, as they call it. And he thought him and Jadeja could have won us the game. Unfortunately, not to be. But again, that put Hardik on the world map, didn’t it,” he added.

Hardik Pandya Key for India in ICC T20 World Cup 2022

Hardik Pandya would be quite pivotal to India’s chances in ICC T20 World Cup 2022. We all know that all-rounders win championships. In Australia, all-rounders are expected to be the match-winners as they provide an extra element to the team. Hardik has shown immense hitting prowess and as boundaries would be long; he will have to be spot on with his shot selection.

The all-rounder needs to continue his form and make sure to contribute in each and every match as a couple of wickets would be invaluable. India needs to use Hardik Pandya very carefully as managing his workload would be important. It would be interesting to see whether the management plays him as the 5th bowler as there are chances that he may prove expensive.
