Fans on Twitter reacted after India National Cricket Team batter Abhishek Sharma flopped yet again in the T20I cricket. The opening batter couldn't get going at all in the ongoing second game against the South Africa National Cricket Team.
India National Cricket Team and South Africa National Cricket Team are locking horns with each other in the second game of the four-match T20I series. The match between the two teams is taking place at St George's Park in Gqeberha on Sunday (10th November).
India lost both the openers early
India were asked to the bar first and they didn't have a great start. They lost Sanju Samson early, and after that, it was expected that Abhishek Sharma would be setting the stage on fire. But it wasn't the case as the batter failed to get going yet again in the format and bagged another lot total.

Abhishek Sharma, who failed to get going in the first T20I against South Africa, had a similar fate in the ongoing game as well. The opening batter perished in the 2nd over as India National Cricket Team lost their second opener in quick succession of time.
Abhishek Sharma managed just 4 runs off 5 balls
Abhishek Sharma fell to Gerald Coetzee as he attempted to hit the ball out of the park. The fast bowler bowled a short ball on off, to which the batter went for a pull and got a top edge. The ball lobbed towards short fine leg, where Marco Jansen took a comfortable catch to send the batter packing.
Abhishek Sharma managed just 4 runs off 5 balls and also hit one-four in his innings. With the kind of reputation that he has built in the T20 cricket, he surely has failed to live up to that. He started his career with a duck but, in the second innings, hit a blistering century.
However, after his century, he has failed to get going and has managed just 70 runs in all the 8 innings that he has played after that. His scores read 0, 100, 10, 14, 16, 15, 4, 7 and 4

Abhishek Sharma is such an inconsistent opener. It’s unreal how scoring runs on the flattest tracks earned him an India spot and preference over many far better openers. There’s a reason he didn’t perform before this IPL.
