A massive security breach was reported near the Indian dressing room ahead of the first T20I against the England National Cricket Team. As per the reports in RaySportz, it is learned that one of the fans was caught inside the ground near the dressing room even before the team reached Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The reports claimed that the security breach happened on Tuesday (22nd January) when India National Cricket Team players and support staff arrived at Eden Gardens in Kolkata for the practice session. This comes ahead of the first T20I between India and England National Cricket Team.
BCCI security member identifies the fan inside the ground, and throws him out as the team arrives at Eden Gardens in Kolkata
It is learned that as the players and the support staff were entering the dressing room, a BCCI security member identified the fan inside the ground near the dressing room and threw him out. However, thankfully for the players and the staff, it wasn't a serious breach as it could've put the first game of the series in jeopardy.
The first match of the five-match T20I series between the Men In Blue and the England National Cricket Team is all set to take place on Wednesday (22nd January). The series opener between the teams is all set to be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

The Suryakumar Yadav-led side have been putting in the hard yards in the last few days to prepare for the series. It will be a crucial series for the team as look to build up for the T20 World Cup 2026, which will be taking place in India and Sri Lanka.
The hosts will be captained by Suryakumar Yadav while Axar Patel has been appointed as the vice-captain of the team. The series will be important for head coach Gautam Gambhir as well, as he has come under massive scanner for his role in the last months.
Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma likely to open in the match, Probable Indian XI for the first T20I
India are likely to open with Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma in the match. Even vice-captain Axar Patel, during the press conference, confirmed that the place of the openers is fixed. Hence, it will be a great opportunity for them to set the platform for the team.
Tilak Varma, skipper Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Rinku Singh are expected to be the middle-order batters. Axar Patel, along with Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi, are likely to follow the spin trio for the team in the first T20I against England.
While it is almost certain that Mohammed Shami will be making his comeback for the team in the first T20I. He is likely to be partnered by Arshdeep Singh, who is just 5 wickets away from picking 100 wickets in the shortest format of the game.
