Rohit Sharma is one of the jollyest players in the Indian cricket team. The way he treats all the youngsters in the team is something that has been cherished by many. The Indian captain often has been acting like a young kid and keeping everyone happy.

Rohit Sharma has created a fantastic environment in the Indian team ever since he took the leadership of the team. The senior opener also leaves no stone unturned in taking hilarious jibes at his players and teasing them a lot. This has been evident on the field through the stump mic, where he is often heard saying hilarious things.

Rohit Sharma currently is captaining the Indian team in the ongoing Test series against England. The opening batter has been fantastic as a leader as well as the batter in the ongoing series. Under his leadership, the team has already won the series by the margin of 3-1 with one game to go.

Rohit Sharma didn’t start the series on a good note as India suffered a poor loss against England in Hyderabad. However, after that, he has been exceptional. He made sure that he didn’t look back at what happened in the first game and made sure that India won the next three games on the trot.

India head coach Rahul Dravid was who is the naughtiest player in the team. The former skipper of the team didn’t take time and pointed a finger towards skipper Rohit Sharma. The conversation unfolded during the recent event.

“Question – Sabse Shararati player team mein? (Naughtiest player in the team).

Rahul Dravid – Humare Sharma ji (our Rohit Sharma).”

I have always tried to understand both the teams and plan accordingly – Rohit Sharma

On the eve of the fifth Test against England, Rohit Sharma opened up about his plans as a leader ahead of any series. He said that he always tries to understand both teams and plan accordingly. He also talked about his role as skipper and stated:

“Ahead of any series, I have always tried to understand both the teams and plan accordingly. I have multiple duties. Firstly, I am a batter. And, if I get out, I need to plan who to promote up the order, and then on the field, it’s about gauging the wicket according to our bowling strength. I didn’t study much in school but I do study the opposition a lot while playing cricket.

“It’s important since teams approach things differently. So, I enjoy the process of learning as a batter and captain. I don’t think who’s injured or who’s unavailable, so I need to plan accordingly and keep a good environment. We have been very relaxed as a team even when they have put us under pressure in the series.”

Rohit Sharma will be next seen in action when India will take on England in the fifth Test in Dharamsala. He would be hoping to win the last game as well and end the series on high.
