Indian left-arm pacer T Natarajan has admitted that he had never thought that he would represent his country across all three formats and that the current phase is the best that he has experienced in his career.

The last five months have been nothing but a fairytale for T Natarajan.

Having turned heads with his ability to nail yorkers on a consistent basis during the last edition of the IPL, Natarajan went on to make his Team India across all three formats during the tour of Australia.

The left-arm pacer impressed with his ability to bowl at the death besides chipping in with wickets at crucial intervals during his stint in all three formats.

Having done so well in the last five months, Natarajan is keen to do the same for the Orange Army in IPL 2021.

“I am in the best phase of my career. Never thought that I will play for India in all three formats. I am also in a good frame of mind and I am keen to contribute to Sunrisers Hyderabad’s success,’’ T Natarajan told the New Indian Express.

The southpaw is ecstatic at the fact that people now expect him to come up with match-winning performances. He, however, does not puts any undue pressure on himself and tries to go about his business in a professional manner.

“I do not put unnecessary pressure on myself. I go about my task in a professional manner and do what the captain wants me to,” he said.

With SRH set to play a plethora of their games in Chennai, Natarajan will finally get to play in home conditions.

“It is good to be playing at home conditions. But T20 is a different ball game. Kolkata Knight Riders (their first match) is a strong side. So we will first see the conditions before the game and then go about the task. Playing at Chepauk is definitely a big plus,’’ said Natarajan.

T Natarajan finished as the second-highest wicket-taker for SRH last year and he will be looking to do an encore in the upcoming season.
