Hardik Pandya has forgiven fans who booed him in IPL 2024 after his marvelous show in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Hardik Pandya also noted that the same will be happy and cheering for him after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Hardik Pandya gave a stunning show in the India vs South Africa final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Pandya bowled the thrilling 20th over where he defended 16 runs in the final over. The right-arm seamer picked 2 wickets and conceded 8 runs to drive India to victory by 7 runs.
Fans cheered for Hardik Pandya throughout the tournament as he excelled with both bat and ball. However, some fans also abused and trolled him when he was appointed as Mumbai Indians skipper in IPL 2024. Some teased Pandya on social media as well as inside the stadium during IPL 2024.
Notably, Mumbai Indians and Rohit Sharma fans were not happy with the fact that Pandya was named the new MI skipper and replaced Rohit Sharma as the skipper. Therefore, they booed and traced him inside the stadium during IPL 2024.

We need to find better ways to conduct ourselves: Hardik Pandya
However, Hardik Pandya made a strong comeback in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, picking crucial wickets and getting important runs for the side. Many fans cheered for the Indian all-rounder during T20I World Cup games. When Pandya was asked about his criticisms, he said he believes in grace and feels that the same people would be happy.
"I believe in grace. A lot was said by people who don't even know me one percent as a person. People have spoken, no issues but I have always believed in life that you never respond with words, circumstances can respond. It is time for fans and everyone else to learn that. We need to find better ways to conduct yourself. I am sure the same people will be happy," he said.
Speaking about winning the trophy, Pandya said it was a very emotional and very special moment for him after what he went through for the last 3 years.
"It means a lot. Very emotional, we'd been working very hard and something was not clicking. But today we got what the whole nation wanted. More special for me, how my last 6 months were, I haven't spoken a word, things have been unfair”, the Indian all-rounder further added.

Talking about the India vs South Africa match, also added that it was special for him to get the opportunity to bowl in the final over.
“I knew that if I kept working hard I could shine and do what I could do. Getting an opportunity like this makes it more special. We always believed it was just about executing our plans and staying calm and letting the pressure come to them," he said.
India crushed South Africa in the final to win the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The Men-in-Blue won the match by 7 runs in a thrilling clash. Earlier, they won back-to-back games with big margins to become the unbeaten side in the World Cup.
