Sachin Tendulkar is arguably the best batter that the game of cricket has ever seen. The former India skipper is known as the 'God of Cricket', which in itself speaks a lot about stature in World cricket. Be in India or other parts of the world, he is seen with utmost respect.
The game of cricket being popular in India is mostly because of Sachin Tendulkar and the impact that he has made. The Indian batter has been the idol for many both in India as well as in other countries where the sport is popular and has shown the way to various players how to approach their game.
One of the main reasons behind the dominance of the India National Cricket Team in world cricket was Sachin Tendulkar. The opening batter hardly had any flaw in his game and it's fair to say that the game of cricket hasn't seen a consistent batter as he was during his playing days.
One of the highlights of his career was his longevity. Sachin represented India for 24 long years and took the team to great heights, making them one of the most dominating forces in world cricket. He ended his career with a World Cup to his name as well, which was the final nail in the coffin for him.
In his illustrious career spanning 24 years, Sachin Tendulkar mustered 34,357 across the formats to go with 100 centuries. The 2011 World Cup winner etched his name in almost every record book. Some of the records that he created are still unbroken and look out of reach for many who are there.
