BCCI condemns ghastly and unwarranted attack

Meanwhile, the ICC chairman Jay Shah expressed deep sorrow over the tragic deaths of three young Afghan cricketers in a recent violent attack. Shah called it a huge loss not only for Afghanistan but for the entire cricket world.

A ceasefire was reached between Afghanistan and Pakistan
In a big relief, Afghanistan and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire after a week of fierce clashes along their shared border. The decision came after talks mediated by Qatar and Türkiye, ending days of deadly violence that had raised tensions between the two countries.
