This is the first time in more than two decades that the jersey features Pakistan’s name. During the Asia Cup 2023, no team had the host nation Pakistan’s name on their jerseys. Now, India’s ICC Champions Trophy jersey is crazily going viral on social media across the platforms.
Notably, according to the rules, every team playing in an ICC tournament must have the host country's name on their jerseys, even if the matches are held at neutral venues.
