The tangled schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is all set to cause trouble to either Australia or South Africa. As per the reports in ESPNCricinfo, it is learned that the semi-finalists of Group B will be travelling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday (March 1st).

The two semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be taking place in two different countries. The game which India National Cricket Team will be playing will be taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on 4th March while the second one will be played on 5th March at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The reports claimed that such scheduling (semi-finalists of group B to go to Dubai) has been done because ICC wants to ensure that the side that plays the semi-final in Dubai on March 4 gets the maximum time to prepare for that contest, having played all their games across three venues in Pakistan.

The team that will be playing India in the semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will have an advantage, while the other team will be leaving Pakistan for Dubai, only to have to return to Pakistan the following day. Thanks to the scheduling, one team will be training at a venue they do not need to be at for a day.
