Zimbabwe pulled off a stunning three-wicket win over Bangladesh in the first Test at Sylhet, and the victory has brought big changes to the latest ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings. The star of the match was Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani, who was named Player of the Match for his eight-wicket haul against Bangladesh.

Thanks to his brilliant performance, Blessing Muzarabani has now reached a career-high rating of 705 points in the ICC Test Bowling Rankings. With this rating, Muzarabani becomes only the second Zimbabwean ever to cross the 700-point mark in Tests. He has moved up four spots and now sits at 15th among the world’s top Test bowlers.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh's top-order batters have made gains in the ICC Men’s Test Batting Rankings after their strong performances against Zimbabwe in the Sylhet Test. Mominul Haque, who scored 56 and 47 in the two innings, moved up five spots to reach 48th place.
