Wicketkeeper-batsman, KL Rahul has been out of the pitch since the mid Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 after receiving a thigh injury against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) while fielding. The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper was later in unbearable pain and was pulled out of the ground. Later, he had to go through a successful surgery.
KL Rahul’s comeback to the India squad has sparked a lot of speculations and no one could predict when will the player return to Rohit Sharma’s squad.
However, according to a recent report by RevSportz, KL Rahul is showing positive results in his rehabilitation process and can be included in the Asia Cup and ICC ODI World Cup 2023 squad.
Sources have told the media outlet that the top-order batsman is again at his top batting, fielding, and keeping form. KL Rahul’s return will surely be a relief for the Men in Blues ahead of the two big tournaments and will play a crucial role.
As per the medical update on KL Rahul by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the 31-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman has been practicing in the net and started his strength practice at National Cricket Academy (NCA).
