Tickets Will Vanish As Soon As They Are Out- Sourav Ganguly
During a press conference in Mumbai, former BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly was asked about his views on the ICC and BCCI’s delay in the sale of World Cup tickets. To this, Ganguly replied that tickets will vanish in just seven days so we don’t need to worry.
“Tickets will finish in seven days, don’t worry. Do you think India-Pakistan tickets will even last seven days or seven hours? No, no. It’s fine. Don’t worry about all that. It’s fine. Tickets will just vanish in India,” Sourav Ganguly said.
Notably, many people criticized the delay of tickets because it will cause issues with visa approvals for foreign fans and hospitality issues for spectators who wish to travel to watch matches.

Sourav Ganguly also spoke about the issue of Indian selectors not conducting enough press conferences. Ganguly feels that Rohit Sharma does a lot of press conferences during tours. He also added that new selectors will also do enough conferences in the future.

“I think the captain does a lot of press conferences when he’s on tour, doesn’t he? Chetan Sharma used to do a lot of press conferences and I am sure the new ones will do it now as well.
It’s not always possible to say in the media why we selected him and why we did not select him. It’s not right because these are personal communication within the selection committee and you discuss about players and their strengths and weaknesses and it’s not right to bring it out in public”, Sourav Ganguly further added.
BCCI announced the squad for Asia Cup 2023 on Monday. During the press conference, chief selector Ajit Agarkar was present at the event. Notably, this was the first time that Agarkar was present in a press conference during the India squad revelation.
