ICC World Cup 2023: Pakistan's WC Schedule To Be Changed; IND vs PAK On October 14 - Reports

Since the last few weeks, there have been quite a few talks about the schedule change of the ICC World Cup 2023. The talks turned into truth when Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah confirmed the same recently, citing that 2-3 full members expressed concerns over the same.
In the latest development as per the reports in RevSportz, it is learned that Pakistan’s schedule for the two games is likely to be changed. The reports also suggested that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to agree to the schedule change for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 .

Pakistan’s game against the Netherlands which is currently slated to take place on October 6th at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad is set to be shifted to the 5th of October or after the 25th of October. Apart from this the much-anticipated clash against India is also likely to be preponed to 14th October.
Pakistan as per the original schedule will open their campaign against the Netherlands on 6th October. The official revised schedule is likely to be announced soon and it remains to be seen when will that game happens.

ICC World Cup 2023: England vs Afghanistan Fixture To Make Way For India vs Pakistan On 14th October – Reports
Apart from the change in Pakistan’s schedule, a recent report in News 18 revealed that the clash between New Zealand vs Bangladesh, which is scheduled to take place in the morning on 14th October is to be shifted to 15th October.
On the other hand, England vs Afghanistan will also be moved to Sunday as a day and night fixture as broadcasters want to make the most of the India vs Pakistan game and that’s why it will be the only game on 14th October.
