Rishabh Pant has continued to surprise the cricketing world with his swift recovery as he tries to return to action as soon as possible. The India wicketkeeper-batsman has been recovering from last year’s horrific car crash.

The star player met with a horrific accident while he was on his way from Delhi to Roorkee to surprise his mother on the new year. Rishabh Pant has not played any competitive game since December 2022. Since the accident, he has missed the entire home season earlier this year that included the four-match Test series against Australia and the Indian Premier League.

He also missed the World Test Championship Final against Australia last month as well as the ongoing tour of West Indies. The left-handed batsman is also looking set to miss the upcoming Asia Cup as well as the World Cup that will get underway in October.

Rishabh Pant continues remarkable recovery:

The cricketing fraternity is eagerly waiting for Rishabh Pant to make his comeback and it looks like the latter will not make them wait for long. He has continued his swift and remarkable recovery. A few weeks ago, Rishabh Pant surprised everyone by walking without crutches. He was even seen climbing stairs unaided.

And the India star has now surprised one and all with his exercise video in which he could be seen lifting weights without much trouble. Posting the video, he wrote: “You get what you work for, not what you wish for”.

With Rishabh Pant sidelined India have relied on the likes of KS Bharat and Ishan Kishan. KS Bharat kept the wickets when Australia visited India for the four-match series as well as the WTC final. Kishan, on the other hand, has been doing the wicketkeeping duties in the ongoing Test series against West Indies.
