AUS vs NED took place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Match 24 of the ICC World Cup 2023 was completed by the Australian cricket team as they thumped the Dutch side by a massive margin of 309 runs to register their third win of the tournament.

Australia opted to bat first but it wasn’t an ideal start for them as they lost Micthell Marsh (9) early. However, after that David Warner (104) and Steve Smith (71) took charge and made sure that their side made good use of the batting conditions in Delhi.

After Steve Smith got out, Marnus Labuschagne (61) came out with positive intent and batted brilliantly. He smashed a vital half-century as well before Glenn Maxwell grabbed the spotlight. The all-rounder unleashed his beast mode as he took Netherlands bowlers to cleaners and their mockery.

Glenn Maxwell (106) slammed the fastest century in the history of World Cups and completely outplayed the Netherlands out of the game. His brutal knock at the end powered Australia to a gigantic total of 399 runs. Logan Van Beek picked four wickets for the Netherlands and was the pick of the bowlers.

With the ball, Australia was all over the Netherlands. They didn’t let the opposition settle at all as they wrapped them up for just 90 runs. Adam Zampa picked four wickets whereas other bowlers chipped in as well. For the Dutch, only Vikramjit Singh (25) went past the 15-run mark, which speaks about their batting performance.
