ICC World Test Championship Final is the next biggest showdown in international cricket. After almost two years of various bilateral Test series, India and New Zealand have qualified for the final of the ICC World Test Championship. The final Test match starts on June 18, 2021, at The Rose Bowl cricket Stadium in England.

India had a PCT of 72.2 while New Zealand had a PCT of 70.0, which made them the top two teams in the World Test Championship points table. India won 12 matches and lost 4 during the tournament, while one match ended in a draw. On the other hand, New Zealand won 7 matches and lost 4 during the tournament.

Australian cricketer Steve Smith holds the 5th spot in this list. Steve Smith has smashed 4 centuries in ICC World Test Championship after playing 22 innings. There are other players too who have smashed an equal 4 centuries in World Test Championship but since Smith has played most innings among all, he gets the 5th spot.

Steve Smith smashed 144 and 142 run knocks against England in August 2019. He also smashed a 211 run-knock against England in September 2019. Later, the right-handed batsman smacked 131 runs in a Test match against India in January 2021. Overall, Steve Smith scored 1341 runs in 22 innings during ICC World Test Championship.

Sri Lanka was far away from qualifying for the final of the ICC World Test Championship but their one batsman batted brilliantly in the tournament. Dimuth Karunaratne smashed 4 centuries in 18 innings in World Test Championship and holds the 4th spot on this list.

Karunaratne smashed 122 runs in a Test match against New Zealand in August 2019. He scored 103 in a match against South Africa in January 2021. He also smashed a double hundred (244) against Bangladesh in April 2021. He later again smashed a century against Bangladesh with a knock of 118 runs. Karunaratne played 18 innings in World Test Championship and scored 999 runs.

Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma holds the 3rd rank in this list with 4 centuries in 17 innings. Rohit Sharma smacked 176 run-knock and 127 run-knock against South Africa in a Test match in October 2019. Later, he smashed a double hundred against South Africa- a 212 run-knock. Later, the right-handed batsman Sharma hit 161 runs against England in February 2021. So far, Rohit Sharma has scored 1030 runs in 17 innings in ICC World Test Championship.

Pakistan cricketer Babar Azam holds the 2nd spot in this list. Azam has smashed 4 centuries in ICC World Test Championship in 17 innings, exactly equal to that of Rohit Sharma. However, Babar Azam has smashed more half-centuries so he gets 2nd spot on this list.

Right-handed batsman Azam hit 104 runs against Australia in November 2019. Later, he smashed 102 runs against Sri Lanka in December 2019. He also smashed an unbeaten 100* against Sir Lanka in another Test in the same month. Against Bangladesh in February 2020, Azam smacked his 4th century with a 143 run-knock. In 17 innings, Babar Azam scored 932 runs.

Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne has smashed the most number of centuries in the ICC World Test Championship which is 5. Marnus Labuschagne played 23 innings in World Test Championship. Labuschagne hit 185 runs in a match against Pakistan in November 2019. In the same month, he smacked another century against Pakistan with a 162-run knock.

He also scored 143 runs in a match against New Zealand in December 2019. He smashed a double-century (215) against New Zealand in January 2020. Labuschagne’s 5th century was a 108 run-knock against India in January 2021. In 23 innings, Labuschagne scored 1675 runs in ICC World Test Championship.
