Australia Clinch Ashes Early as England’s Struggles Continue Down Under

England lost the Ashes after just three Tests for the fourth tour in a row. They have suffered 16 defeats in their last 18 Tests on Australian soil.

Pat Cummins, returning after a long injury break, picked up four wickets in the first innings and followed it up with another strong spell in the second. Nathan Lyon surpassed Glenn McGrath on the all-time wickets list. Mitchell Starc also scored useful runs with the bat.

Australia’s bowlers worked together relentlessly, even in tough conditions, and never allowed England any breathing space. In contrast, England relied heavily on one or two players. The gap in quality was clear, and Australia executed their plans almost perfectly throughout the Test.
