The second session on Day 2 of the ICC WTC Final of an engrossing passage of play between Indian batsmen and New Zealand seamers came to a premature abrupt end after the on-field umpires decided that the light wasn’t good enough for the game to continue.

It all happened during the 56th over of Team India’s innings when the on-field umpires converged to make the decision.

The decision was met with loud boos from the crowd as the players walked off the field for early Tea on Day 2 of the ICC WTC Final.

Speaking of the 2nd session, it was an engrossing passage of play where we saw the New Zealand seamers bowl with a lot of discipline.

The Indian batters, however, were pretty patient even as they faced one tough question after another.
