Ihsanullah lynched in Pakistan after open challenge to Abhishek Sharma

Ihsanullah, the Pakistani pacer, had claimed to dismiss Indian batter Abhishek Sharma within 3 balls of the very first over he bowled to the ICC No. 1 T20I batter. Now, the former Pakistani pacer Tanvir Ahmed has trolled the pacer for his audacious remarks.

Forgotten Pakistan pacer Ihsanullah had thrown an open challenge to Indian batter Abhishek Sharma after Pakistan was thumped during the Asia Cup by the Indian opening batter. He had claimed to dismiss the batter just within the first three balls of an over.

Ihsanullah, trolled by Tanvir Ahmed, asked to play domestic cricket first

Not taking Ihsanullah's claims seriously, a guest from a Pakistani show, Tanvir Ahmed, poked fun at the pacer and called his claim mindless, especially when he himself is not fit and is not even playing in the domestic tournaments of Pakistan.

"I saw that video and was startled by it. When you (Ihsanullah) are not even playing domestic cricket and are unfit for the game, what is the use of making such claims that can never be turned into reality?"

"There is absolutely no credibility in making such claims that 'I will dismiss Abhishek Sharma within 3 balls' even if you are playing international cricket," remarked Tanvir Ahmed on the show. He bruised the speedster with a staunch reality check.

"Even Wasim Akram could never tell; I will dismiss Adam Gilchrist or Mathew Hayden in 3 balls" - Tanvir Ahmed

In an attempt to prove his point, Tanvir Ahmed weighed in on former Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram, considered one of the greatest pacers in the world. He went on to say that even the legendary pacer could not make such an audacious claim, since cricket is a game of implementation.

"Even Wasim Akram can't guarantee that he would dismiss Adam Gilchrist or Mathew Hayden within 3 balls or any specified number of deliveries," he remarked.

"You never know before you actually go out and bowl in front of the batter. Maybe once you bowl to him, he trashes you for runs. I am openly challenging any cricketer, be it even a legend in the world, to dismiss a batter by mentioning the number of deliveries beforehand," he added.

Abhishek Sharma's weakness revealed

As the presenter of the show went on to mention that, "Maybe Ihsanullah has spotted some weakness in Abhishek's batting. Have you noticed a flaw in his batting, where he can be deceived and hence dismissed during a match?"

Tanvir Ahmed immediately answered, "Yes, every cricketer has their own weaknesses. We have discussed earlier, Abhishek Sharma's weakness is in deliveries which are bowled in and around the 'good' length region."

"However, despite that length, no one can specify when one can get him dismissed. What if the ball doesn't swing or seam the way one would have liked it to after it is pitched on the good length?" The player took a direct dig at Ihsanullah for having made the mindless claim, which, according to him, ruins their image and makes them an element of laughter on social media.
