The incident took place in the fourth over of Pakistan A’s innings when Rajvardhan Hangargekar bowled a no-ball. Opener Saim Ayub mistimed a flick, which went miles high in the air. Wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel comfortably completed the catch, but it went in vain. Ayub went on to score a crucial 59 which proved costly for India on the other hand.
He was dropped on 16 and he went added a 121-run partnership with Sahibzada Farhan (65 off 62) in the final. Ayub was finally removed by Manav Suthar getting him caught by Dhruv Jurel in the 18th over. However, by then Ayub had done his job and given Pakistan a brilliant start.
