Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Afghanistan cricketer Mohammad Nabi engaged in a heated exchange during the 3rd IND vs AFG T20I match. The match entered the super-over after the match ended in a tie. Chasing down 213 runs against India, Afghanistan finished at 212/6, after a brilliant knock from Gulbadin Naib who hit 55* runs from 23 balls.

While Afghanistan were batting first during the super over, the visitors added 13 runs from the first five balls. The last ball was a yorker by Mukesh Kumar which was missed by Mohammad Nabi. However, Nabi sneaked a triple from the delivery as the ball deflected off Nabi’s pads and went towards Kohli.

Rohit was livid and thought Nabi shouldn’t have run as the ball deflected off his pads. Sharma exchanged a few words with Mohammad Nabi and gestured that he ran in the line of the stumps. Indian batsman Virat Kohli also didn’t throw the ball and believed that Afghanistan would not go for the extra run.
