Indian batter Virat Kohli wasn’t happy with his teammates during the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 game against Afghanistan. The senior cricketer was furious after Naveen-ul-Haq was allowed to take double at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The atmosphere in the stadium was completely different as Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq came out to bat. The entire stadium teased him with “Kohli Kohli” chants and it also charged Virat Kohli up. His intensity level racked up and was electric on the field.
During the second ball of the 49th over Jasprit Bumrah bowled a yorker on pads to Naveen-ul-Haq. The Afghanistan player flicked the ball to fine leg and he charged for the second run. Virat Kohli, who was stationed there, took the ball and threw it towards the keeper’s end.
But as the throw reached, Naveen-ul-Haq was home. He put in a full-length dive to reach there. As the batter completed the second run, Virat Kohli was furious about it and gave an angry reaction. Here’s the video:

Naveen-ul-Haq scored 9 runs off 8 balls and made sure as he smashed Mohammed Siraj for four in the last over. His vital runs in the end powered Afghanistan to the fighting total of 272 runs on the board at the Delhi pitch, which has been good for batting.

Not only Virat Kohli was furious but he also was in a jolly mood during the game. He made sure that he made his home crowd go gaga. The batter was seen shaking his leg as the music was being played in the stadium. Seeing him dance, the spectators went berserk.
Coming to the game, Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bat first. They were put under pressure as they lost early wickets. However, after that 121 runs stand by Hashmatullah Shahidi (80) and Azmatullah Omarzai (62) brought them back into the game.
Meanwhile, vital contributions in the end powered them to a total of 272 runs on the board. For India, Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers as he bagged a four-wicket haul.
