Naveen-ul-Haq‘s IPL team, the Lucknow Super Giants, playfully revisited a social media feud by posting a ‘mango tweet’ before their international match against Virat Kohli’s team. LSG tweeted, “Aam kab nahi khana chahiye (when not to eat mango).”

Earlier, the Lucknow-based franchise had posted a tweet about muting words related to mangoes on social media due to the buzz. However, they playfully reminded Naveen of the mango-themed trolling with a tweet featuring a mango picture.

India Is Our Home – Hashmatullah Shahidi

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Afghanistan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi addressed the Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli incident, stating that such aggression can occur in cricket and is not limited to any particular country.

“See, as you mentioned before also, like India is our home, it was our home, we played here and the people of India give a lot of love to Afghanistan people,” Shahidi said.

“And what happened in the ground, that aggression comes to every player, it’s not about India and Afghanistan. So, it can come to everyone. So, this happened and still like if you see a lot of our players, we have idols from Indian team like Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid [sic],” he added.

The match between the Rohit Sharma-led team and the Hashmatullah Shahidi-led team is scheduled to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, October 11.
