Indian cricket star KL Rahul was thrown into the hot seat in a thrilling and unpredictable Instagram session, facing a unique challenge that went viral.

The Kiraat session, hosted by Raj Varma, saw Rahul tackle a "blind" ranking game, where he had to rate some of the world's top cricketers without knowing who would come next.

His quick thinking and strategic foresight were put to the ultimate test as Rahul ranked legendary bowlers like James Anderson and Dale Steyn, creating a buzz in the cricket world.

This blind game kicked off with a twist, as Rahul had no clue who would be named, forcing him to play smartly.

KL Rahul’s blind ranking challenge goes viral, as Dale Steyn takes top spot

The first name thrown his way was none other than England's iconic fast bowler, James Anderson.

The Indian wicketkeeper-batter acknowledged Anderson’s excellence with the ball and placed him at the number two, hinting at even bigger names coming next.

According to his expectations, South Africa’s legendary pacer Dale Steyn entered the fray. Rahul didn’t miss a beat, as he immediately crowned Steyn as the number one bowler.

Steyn's fiery career, marked by the jaw-dropping pace and fierce spells, undoubtedly earned him the number one spot in Rahul’s lineup.

But the surprises didn’t end there, as Afghanistan’s spin wizard and T20 superstar Rashid Khan made the list at number four.

Known for his unplayable leg spin and amazing talent to trouble the batters, Rashid was ranked fourth by the Indian batter for his unique talent.

India’s own speedster Jasprit Bumrah, the leader of their pace attack, slotted in at number three.

Rahul’s ranking of Bumrah was a calculated decision, as Bumrah’s recent heroics in international cricket have cemented his place as one of the most feared bowlers in the modern era.

The interesting session ended with Pakistan's young pace sensation Naseem Shah rounding out Rahul’s list at number five.

However, all those named have been suggested by the hosts, and accordingly, the Karnataka star slotted them among his top bowlers.

Here are KL Rahul's top five bowlers –

  1. James Anderson
  2. Dale Steyn
  3. Jasprit Bumrah

  5. Naseem Shah
