Team India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey stated that he was unaware of the PCB’s official complaint regarding crowd behavior during the India-Pakistan match. Paras Mhambrey said that he isn’t the right person to address the issue as it falls outside his domain.
The Rohit Sharma-led team registered a comfortable seven-wicket victory against Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14. The highly anticipated game turned out to be a one-sided clash as India chased down the target with more than 19 overs to spare.
The PCB Has Lodged Formal Protest With The ICC, Confirms Board
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially complained to the International Cricket Council (ICC) about the crowd’s behavior. During the match, spectators chanted “Jai Shri Ram” as Mohammad Rizwan made his way back to the pavilion after his dismissal.
“The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lodged another formal protest with the ICC over delays in visas for Pakistani journalists and the absence of a visa policy for Pakistan fans for the ongoing World Cup 2023.”.
“The PCB has also filed a complaint regarding inappropriate conduct targeted at the Pakistan squad during the India vs Pakistan match held on 14 October 2023,” the PCB posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

PCB cricket management committee chairman Zaka Ashraf is in discussions with senior board officials about his visit. Ashraf expressed disappointment with Pakistan’s performance and urged the players to put it behind them and concentrate on upcoming matches.
I’m The Wrong Person To Answer – Paras Mhambrey
Speaking ahead of the India-Bangladesh match in the World Cup 2023, Paras Mhambrey avoided addressing the PCB’s complaint, stating that he had not heard about it.
“Honestly – I am the wrong person to answer that question. Really, I have not even heard what you are saying. That’s not something, it’s not my domain so really, I can’t answer that,” Mhambrey said on Wednesday.
The Men in Blue will take on Shakib Al Hasan-led Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Thursday, October 19.
