IND vs BAN: Yuvraj Singh shockingly ignores Sachin, Kohli, Dhoni; picks one Indian in top 3 players for XI
Legendary India allrounder Yuvraj Singh made a huge surprise selection recently when he was asked to name the first three players of all time in his playing XI. In a big shock, Yuvraj did not include three iconic Indian players Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli in this list. His response came just before India's two-match Test series against Bangladesh.
The former India allrounder picked Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, and Jasprit Bumrah in this list. Yuvraj has played with Tendulkar, Dhoni, and Kohli during his playing days. When he started playing international cricket, Sachin Tendulkar was an established name in Indian cricket and Yuvraj shared the dressing room with the master.
During his peak form, he played with MS Dhoni. Both Yuvraj and Dhoni took India to victories in numerous games while batting in the middle order. Meanwhile, during the end of his career, Yuvraj shared the Indian dressing room with Virat Kohli, who was taking huge steps to become the next great at that time.

Yuvraj Singh picks the first three names of his Playing XI
During an interview with Sportskeeda, Yuvraj Singh was asked about the first three names who would make his Playing XI. After giving it a thought, Yuvraj picked Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, and Jasprit Bumrah as the ones who would make his playing XI among the first three players.
“Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, and Jasprit Bumrah,” Yuvraj replied to the question.
Interestingly, Yuvraj Singh has shared the dressing room with all the above-mentioned players either with India or in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was in Royal Challengers Bangalore for the IPL 2014 season when Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers used to play for the franchise.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj was in India's team during the 2016 tour of Australia when Jasprit Bumrah made his international debuts in T20Is and ODIs. During that series, Yuvraj was in the last stages of his international career.
Yuvraj Singh to be Delhi Capitals' new head coach?
Yuvraj Singh is believed to be in discussions with Delhi Capitals for the role of the new head coach. The Capitals recently removed Ricky Ponting from the role of head coach and are in constant search of a new head coach.
Yuvraj Singh has a huge amount of respect for the great Sachin Tendulkar and it was a surprise not to see him in this list. Tendulkar is regarded as probably the greatest player to have ever played this game. He is on top of the list for the most no. of runs in international cricket.
On the other hand, MS Dhoni shared a great camaraderie on the field while batting with Yuvraj Singh. The pair of Yuvraj and Dhoni won India many games under pressure and were known to be among the best pair in white-ball cricket at that time.
Not including Virat Kohli in this list was also a huge surprise. Kohli has been exceptional ever since his debut and has a brilliant record in all the formats of the game. Just when Kohli's stature started to grow bigger in international cricket, Yuvraj was at the final stages of his international career.
