All eyes will be on Jasprit Bumrah as India gets ready to take on Ireland in the three-match T20I series later this month. The fast-bowler will be making his much-awaited return to international cricket in the T20I series.
Jasprit Bumrah has now played a competitive match since September last year. His last appearance for Team India came during the home T20I series against Australia before he was sidelined with a back injury. He was named in the squad for the home ODI series against Sri Lanka at the start of the ongoing year but on the eve of the series, he pulled out after experiencing pain.
Later in March, he underwent back surgery in New Zealand before going to the National Cricket Academy for his rehab. He has been at the NCA since then and missed the home Test series against Australia, IPL 2023, the World Test Championship final as well as the ongoing tour of West Indies.
