The Men in Blue will face New Zealand in their next match in Dharamsala on Sunday, October 22. As per reports, Indian team members will likely take a short break with their families following the match, as they have been playing constant cricket for a long time.
The players will get a well-deserved break during the extended and demanding World Cup schedule. There is a seven-day gap between the New Zealand and England matches, giving them the chance to rest. Most of the players have been traveling since the Asia Cup 2023.
“The players are likely to have an option of dispersing to their respecting homes for a two or three-day break after the New Zealand game,” a BCCI source told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
