IND vs PAK: Anushka Sharma, Athiya Shetty Post Special Instagram Stories For Virat Kohli, KL Rahul After Their Terrific Tons vs Pakistan

India National Cricket Team batting great Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma shared a special Instagram story for her husband after he smashed a spectacular century in the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four clash against Babar Azam-led Pakistan National Cricket Team at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Monday, September 11.

Virat Kohli was unbeaten on Sunday at the score of 8 before the match was called off due to rain. On Monday, Kohli batted with positive intent and accelerated his innings exceptionally well. The 34-year-old raced towards his half-century off 55 balls and his innings consisted of 4 fours.

Virat Kohli then smashed the bowlers all over the park and completed his marvelous ton off 84 balls, with 6 fours and 2 sixes. Kohli smashed some of the most beautiful-looking sixes and finished his innings with an unbeaten 122 off 94 balls, with 9 fours and 3 sixes.

Kohli and KL Rahul (111) smashed terrific centuries in the match and they were involved in a sensational 233* runs partnership in 194 balls that pushed Pakistan on the back foot.

Anushka Sharma was extremely impressed with Kohli’s performance and she took to her Instagram story to shower rich praise on her husband. She also congratulated KL Rahul for his ton. She wrote for Kohli: “Super Knock, super guy.” Also, Athiya Shetty labeled the duo as “champions”.

Legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar took to X to praise the batters and highlight a positive sign for India.
