After Rohit Sharma’s impeccable ton against Afghanistan, former Pakistan player Misbah-ul-Haq said that Pakistan bowlers will be under pressure while bowling to him. Misbah-ul-Haq also said that bowlers of other teams will be confused about where to bowl Rohit Sharma.
Rohit Sharma shattered a match-winning knock of 131 runs against Afghanistan. Sharma also scored his 7th century in ODI World Cups, breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most centuries in the tournament’s history.
Pakistan Bowlers Will Be Under Pressure Against Rohit Sharma- Misbah-ul-Haq
After Rohit Sharma’s wonderful knock, former Pakistan all-rounder Misbah-ul-Haq said that bowlers of other teams including Pakistan will be under pressure while bowling to Rohit Sharma in ICC World Cup 2023.
“After watching Rohit Sharma’s batting I feel that teams that will face him in other games like Pakistan, their players will be under pressure. Their bowlers will be confused about where to bowl him”, he said.

He also noted that Sharma has a shot for every type of delivery and hence, bowlers will be confused about where to bowl him.
“If you bowl outside the off-stumps, he slams it for boundaries. Lifts the back of the length deliveries for straight drive. Hits the shorter-length ball for six towards square leg and fine leg. The way he is batting I mean the margin of error…forget the margin of error… where to bowl becomes a big question for a bowler”, Misbah-ul-Haq further added.

India had to chase 273 runs in the previous match against Afghanistan. With Sharma’s 131-run knock, the men-in-blue chased down the target in just 35 overs by 8 wickets. Sharma also won the Player of the Match award for his knock.
India will next face Pakistan in the ICC World Cup 2023. IND vs PAK match takes place on Saturday, October 14. The venue of the encounter is Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both teams have won both of their games in the tournament so far.
