IND vs PAK: Mohammad Rizwan Delivers Massive Verdict On India vs Pakistan Rivalry Ahead Of Asia Cup 2023

Star Pakistan National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has shared his views on the India vs. Pakistan rivalry ahead of the Asia Cup 2023 clash between the Asian Giants.

Rohit Sharma-led India and Babar Azam-led Pakistan will lock horns in the third match of the Asia Cup 2023 on September 2 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele.

Asia Cup 2023 will be played in the One Day International (ODI) format this time around and it will consist of 13 matches, with Pakistan hosting 4 and Sri Lanka hosting the rest of the 9 matches.

The continental tournament will commence on Wednesday, August 30, and the summit clash will be held on Sunday, September 17. A total of six teams will feature in the marquee tournament. India, Pakistan, and Nepal form Group A while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are placed in Group B.

Speaking in a video shared by Star Sports on their official social media handles, Mohammad Rizwan said that the matches between India and Pakistan are always high-pressure encounters.

Mohammad Rizwan added that the team that handles the pressure well will win the match on a given day as both sides have got quality players.

“India are also a good team, we are also a good team. India have their strengths and weaknesses, and we have too. It is a pressure match with the world watching it. 

“According to me, a difference between the star player and a regular international player is experience. Whoever handles pressure will win the match,” Mohammad Rizwan said in a snippet uploaded by Star Sports in their social media handles.

Meanwhile, both India and Pakistan have announced their squads for the Asia Cup 2023 and both the teams look quite strong on paper. Pakistan recently made a change to their squad as they added Saud Shakeel to the 17-man team.
