IND vs PAK: Ravi Shastri Reacts To Virat Kohli-Naveen-ul- Haq’s Patch Up; Says ‘Let Bygones Be Bygones’

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq leveled their differences during the IND vs AFG match of the ICC World Cup 2023. The duo had an ugly spat during IPL 2023. Reacting to the same, commentator Ravi Shastri said that let bygones be bygones.
During a clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023, Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq had an ugly fight on the field. The altercation became a highlight of the tournament when several LSG players and mentor Gautam Gambhir also had an altercation with Virat Kohli after the match.
As a result, Indian fans also used to chant Kohli’s name whenever Naveen-ul-Haq came to perform. Similar events happened during the IND vs AFG match of ICC World Cup 2023 on Wednesday when spectators chanted Kohli’s name to tease Naveen-ul-Haq.

Ravi Shastri Reacts To Virat Kohli-Naveen-ul-Haq’s Patch Up
However, Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq patched up with each other during the IND vs AFG match. Both had a friendly chat and also shook hands. Kohli also signaled fans at the stadium to not tease the Afghanistan pacer.
Reacting to the same from the commentary panel, Ravi Shastri said, “At the end of the day, Naveen-ul-Haq has to on to the Virat Kohli pavilion. He has done a good job as has Virat. Let bygones be bygones”.
Meanwhile, Naveen-ul-Haq bowled 5 overs in the match but failed to get any wickets. Kohli smacked an unbeaten half-century as India defeated Afghanistan by 8 wickets.
Batting first, Hashmatullah Shahidi drove Afghanistan to 272-8 on the scoreboard with his brilliant 80-run knock. During the chase, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma shattered an impeccable knock of 133 runs to lead India to victory by 8 wickets.
Rohit Sharma also scripted the record for most tons in ODI World Cups with his 7th century. India will next face Pakistan in ICC World Cup 2023 on October 14. Afghanistan will now wrestle with England on October 15.
