IND vs PAK, a super four match of Asia Cup 2023, is set to be played on Sunday (September 10). The match takes place at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The IND vs PAK Group A clash was washed out due to rain.

IND vs PAK: Weather Reports Show High Rain In Colombo On Sept 10

According to weather reports, there is a high chance of rain during the India vs Pakistan super four encounter of Asia Cup 2023. According to weather.com, there is over 90% chance of rain in Colombo city on September 10.

There is a 93% chance of rain in Colombo on September 10 (Sunday) during the day. It will rise by 97% at night. There are also thunderstorms expected throughout the day.

Notably, there will be no respite from rain as it is expected to be over 90 percent throughout the day. Colombo city has witnessed consistent rain for the last few days and will be hampered with rain for upcoming days too.

Hence, the IND vs PAK clash of Asia Cup 2023 is highly expected to be washed out once again. Earlier, the Group A match between India and Pakistan witnessed no result due to rain.

In a rain-affected match which was halted a few times, India piled up 266-10 in 1st innings. Later, the match did not witness the 2nd innings as rain hampered the match. However, since India and Pakistan outplayed Nepal during the group stage, they managed to qualify for the super four round.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) were quite aware of the consistent rains in Colombo over the last few weeks. ACC and SLC also planned to shift the remaining games out of Colombo to Hambantota due to bad weather issues. However, Sri Lanka Cricket revealed that the games will be held in Colombo as per plans.
