IND vs PAK: 'USA should've been scared of Pakistan, but...' - Ramiz Raja's explosive rant after Babar Azam-led team's embarrassing loss

Former PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja thrashed everyone in the Pakistan team from the players to the captain and from the coaching staff to the selectors.

Ramiz Raja's disappointment is obvious. Nobody wants to see their respective national team stoop to new lows after new lows. In the last T20 World Cup edition in 2022, Pakistan were jolted by Zimbabwe in an unbelievable 1-run loss in Perth. Two years later, the Pakistanis have once again been jolted but this time by ICC T20 World Cup 2024 co-hosts USA.

There is literally nowhere to hide for the Pakistani team led by Babar Azam. Was it a wake-up call for them or did the USA expose them in and out? Whatever it may be, one thing is for sure - the Men in Green have a tough journey to cover going forward. Forget the Super 8s, the scenario has now become difficult for Pakistan to even get past the group stages.

What did Ramiz Raja say about Pakistan's performance?

While speaking in his latest YouTube video on Pakistan Vs USA's match analysis, Ramiz Raja had a harsh choice of words for every single member in the Pakistan camp. The former PCB chief started off by saying that at times it feels as if the team won't get any worse but they eventually end up losing to the United States.

Ramiz Raja believes that the match was pretty much in Pakistan's pocket but they squandered everything in the end. Raja then admitted that the conditions were actually tough but how can Babar Azam's side not justify their stature in World cricket as one of the dominating forces.

Raja feels that it should be the Americans who should have been afraid of playing against Pakistan but due to the consistent mistakes, the co-hosts took advantage.

"You think that the performances cannot be any worse for Pakistan, then they go on to lose against USA as well. This game should have been in Pakistan's pocket."

"Granted, the ball did swing and seam around for the first couple of overs, but Pakistan are a reputed team when compared to the USA. USA should have been the team scared of playing Pakistan, but mistakes after mistakes were made," Raja said on his latest YT video.

Ramiz Raja claims Pakistan's think tank was sleeping when the USA won

Ramiz Raja did not even spare the team management as he claimed that they were sleeping when Pakistan were being humiliated by the USA. From the team selection to the tactical decisions on the field, the Men in Green lacked everywhere possible.

The renowned cricket commentator concluded by saying that Pakistan should not play the blame game on each other. He rather wants the team to take this loss constructively and work hard to make amends.

"From team selection's point of view, from a tactical point of view, it seemed as if the think tank was sleeping. There are so many mistakes being made in the dugout and outside as well. This shouldn't end up being a blame game, and constructive criticism must be given," Ramiz Raja concluded.
