Indian Cricket Team faced a mini scare ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 clash against Pakistan on Saturday (2nd September). Star batter Virat Kohli was hit during the net session as per the reports in RaySportz.
India’s team had a practice session on the eve of the game against Pakistan in Pallekele. They were adamant to practice under floodlights so as to see how the ball moves. Virat Kohli too was among the players who sweated hard in the nets ahead of the big name.
However, he was hit while facing the ball against Mohammed Siraj. Virat Kohli didn’t look in discomfort as he immediately showed a thumbs up to the pacer. But the reports have suggested that he didn’t bat after that and left the main net.

Virat Kohli seemed fine but it’ll be a mini heart attack for fans as well. He will be one of the most important batters in the game against Pakistan. Whenever India have faced against their arch-rivals, the batter has risen to the occasion and has scored runs under immense pressure.
There’s no official confirmation about Virat Kohli getting hurt, which means that he’s doing fine, and walking off from the main net would be a precautionary measure. He’s expected to bat at No.3 for the team in the upcoming game.
