While speaking to Star Sports, former right-arm pacer Waqar Younis said Virat Kohli will score more ODI centuries than Sachin Tendulkar in future. He noted that Tendulkar reached the 49th century at the end of his career. However, Kohli has reached 47 tons with a lot more years left in his career.
“The difference between him [Virat Kohli] and other players, even Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar, when he finished, had 49 hundreds (ODIs). Waqar Younis further added that Kohli wants to be the best on the field. He also said he feels sorry for KL Rahul who had to run a lot while sharing crease with a fitness expert Kohli.

“He wants to be the best in anything he does, batting, fielding or running between the wickets. And what he loves himself is his work on fitness,” Waqar further added.
