IND vs PAK: Wasim Jaffer Shares Hilarious Meme As ACC Names India vs Pakistan As Only Super 4 Match With Reserve Day

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer came up with a hilarious post after the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced reserve day for the India vs Pakistan game in the Super Four of Asia Cup 2023. The game between the two arch-rivals will take place on 10th September. 

India vs Pakistan in the Super Four stage has come under scanner due to rain threat. The weather in Sri Lanka hasn’t been kind and there are very high chances that we might see another game getting washed out. The match between two arch-rivals in the league stage was washed out due to rain. 

With India vs Pakistan being a big-ticket game, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) made sure that they got fans what they wanted. The governing body has added reverse day for the biggest clash. If rain suspends play on 10th September then the match will continue on September 11th from the point it was suspended. 

Wasim Jaffer posted a scene from the Bollywood movie ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ where he highlighted that ACC and broadcasters are only approaching India and Pakistan. Whereas Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are just watching.

Asian Cricket Council, however, has received a lot of criticism for their decision to have a reserve day for the India vs Pakistan game. They believe that a multi-nation tournament deserves a reserve day for each of the Super 4 games not just India and Pakistan.

Recently Wasim Jaffer was asked about who will be the most vital player for India in the ICC World Cup 2023. He didn’t pick Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, or star India pacer, Jasprit Bumrah but backed Hardik Pandya as the most vital player in the squad.
