IND vs PAK: Watch - Agha Salman Left Bleeding As He Top-Edges A Ravindra Jadeja Delivery Onto His Face

Things are not at all going in favour of the Pakistan Cricket Team in the ongoing Super Four game of the Asia Cup 2023 against India at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. They have lost early wickets while chasing a gigantic total and to worsen the case more Agha Salman got hit on the face too. 

Agha Salman didn’t wear a helmet against the Indian spinners and he paid a heavy price for that. The Pakistan batter tried to play a paddle sweep to Ravindra Jadeja’s delivery. He got a top edge that struck him on the face and he had a cut on his face, that saw red blood oozing out. 

Immediately physio ran out to check on him as Agha Salman had swelling under his right eye. The Pakistan batter then got some tape on the cut he had on his face and after that he wore a helmet, resuming batting. Here’s a video of him getting hurt:

IND vs PAK: Agha Salman perishes to Kuldeep Yadav 

After dealing a blow to his face, Agha Salman looked rusty and couldn’t contribute much. He was removed two overs later as Kuldeep Yadav trapped him in LBW for just 23 runs. 

Kuldeep Yadav bowled a quicker delivery at the stumps that was full. Agha Salman tried to sweep the ball but he missed it. The ball struck him in front of the pads and he was deemed out. His wicket saw Pakistan tumbling at 96/5. Earlier seamers bowled extremely well and set the stage for the spinners. 

Jasprit Bumrah drew the first blood for his team as he removed Imam-ul-Haq and displayed a staggering spell of fast bowling. His setup to Babar Azam allowed Hardik Pandya to take the wicket of a Pakistan skipper. 

Apart from Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya, Shardul Thakur also chipped in and removed Mohammad Rizwan. With Pakistan already five wickets down, India would be hoping to wrap up the innings quickly.
